Won't Compile (Unexpected identifier)

Weird error. TypeScript complains

interface Expression {
          ^^^^^^^^^^

SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier

Yet the syntax looks perfectly fine to me. Can't figure out why TypeScript produce this error.
