I also did some testing on this today. Navigation has always worked well for me.
I now tested balanced and high. Both without distance filter.

  • balanced: it starts quite ok, but has extremely bad precision. I assume this could be from the system GPS, but honestly the jumps it does, are quite strange. After a little while (30 points or so) it just gets stuck in a point and there remains without further updates.
  • hight: it starts with a position and there it stays. No more updates.

You have non zero distanceFilter: 10.0, so in each interval there must be at least 10 meter change in location or you won't gets any update.

The coordinates i use for testing are greater than 10 meters, this works fine when accuracy is not set as the first example, when i add the LocationAccuracy.HIGH stops working for some reason, same intervals and distanceFilter, same coordinates as well

I think coordinates fluctuates on low accuracy.
Also are you using an emulator ?

For me too the HIGH settings do weird things but I thought it was my phone

Is this a problem in Android or iOS or both?

Can you all give some information about testing environment?

I tested it just on Android:

  • pixel 3x
  • android 10

@saulurquiaga @moovida @RomanJos @anirudhsharma392 Do you still have this problem?

@mehdok , I didn't test this again, I didn't think something had been done.
Should this be working now? I would be happy to test it.

It's been a long time since you guys reported this issue, there wasn't any specific code about this problem but a lot of PR has been merged since then, so I just wanted to be sure that problem still exists.

I didn't used Flutter since my last response on this repo as I finished creating a mvp, I'm now focusing on creating the whole design with an agency etc etc so if you really need a test I can do it but only with your example, the library I used probably changed a lot since

Since I can't not replicate this issue it would be really nice if you guys can just run the latest code and feed me with more information;

the issue is still exist, I use emulator to test it , when accuracy is LocationAccuracy.NAVIGATION eveything going well ,but others , can not receive data.

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is related, but today I figured out that when the "Google Location Accuracy" setting is set OFF on my Android phone, the location callback is not called at all. Even if LocationAccuracy was set to NAVIGATION.

Devise is an Android 10 based Moto G7 Play.
