PEStringsTool

It is a tool for modifying string data in Windows PE executable files.

The main application is localization of programs into any languages. It is also suitable for localization of games if text data is stored in an executable file.

There is support for projects. You can save your translation to a separate project file so that you can restore it later and continue working.

To help translate texts, a link has been added that opens Google Translate with the specified text in the browser. Unfortunately, there are no open free APIs for high-quality translation.

The program is assembled into a executable JAR file (only for Windows). The same file is located nearby, but wrapped in an EXE for a more familiar launch.

Java is required to run, if the program does not start or gives any error, then download the latest version of Java here: https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads

Any bug reports and suggestions for improving the program are welcome.

Основное применение - локализация программ на любые языки. Подходит и для локализации игр в том случае, если текстовые данные хранятся в исполняемом файле.

Есть поддержка проектов. Свой перевод можно сохранить в отдельный файл проекта, чтобы потом восстановить его и продолжить работу.

Для помощи в переводе текстов добавлена ссылка, которая открывает в браузере Google Translate с указанным текстом. К сожалению нет открытых бесплатных API для качественного перевода.

Программа собрана в запускаемый JAR-файл (только под Windows). Рядом расположен тот же файл но обернутый в EXE для более привычного запуска.
