APMC-DS

The overall objective of the task is two-fold:

  1. To understand the “trend” in the modal (average) prices of different commodities in different APMCs (Agricultural produce market committee),
  2. To predict the modal prices of different APMC-Commodity sets.

Regarding the files,

  1. The file apmc_data_analysis.md (and in .R and .html formats) contains the analysis part of the task.

  2. The file apmc_prediction.md (and in .R and .html formats) contains the prediction part of the task.

  3. The file Report.pdf contains a brief description of the methodology and discusses the important results.
