lser

A cli tool to display avaliable serial ports of your device.

  • Support Linux, Windows
  • Support arm and x86 devices of linux

install

$ cargo install lser

lser not completely detecting my device

I have connected a USB-db9 serial adapter and my host is Ubuntu20.x on 64-bit Intel.

lser only detects USB side but not serial device file, ie, I see the following:
/dev/USB0

But don't see this:
/dev/ttyS4

Is there a reason for this? Am I invoking this incorrectly? Please assist and thank you
