Uploads via FCGI fail when exceeding a certain size (starting at 1-2 MB). Investigate and fix. It's not the upload limit defined in the PHP settings. 🤔

Right now all files in web-directories are cached in memory - which makes the webserver quite unusable for serving large files. Furthermore, files handled by CGI are kept in the cache as well, even though they are interpreted and (hopefully) never directly served, thus wasting memory. Therefore:

• Create a filter so only suitable files are cached, based on filetype and -size
• Implement serving files directly from a filedescriptor, so uncached files can be retrieved as well. Data should probably be read asynchronously. Decide on whether to keep a FD open for every transmission (easier) or to share a FD when the same file is requested multiple times (annoying because multithreading)
• Optional: allow an upper size limit for memory cache, and implement some logic to keep only the most requested files in memory

Title says it all. Probably involves some heavy restructuring.
