altbanking's Issues

Server needs security "hardening".

  1. Stronger root password for our account.
  2. Our account can see all the accounts on the server!
  3. Suggest to admins stronger root passwords for all users.

Better reporting of traffic.

A lot of the reporting is turned off - things we might be interested in.

We should turn it on, and also document how we can see this reporting.

Delete unused plug-ins.

Are we using the phpBB-integration plug-in?

There's an integration package for phpBB installed and enabled, but it's not clear that we're using it. We should turn it off if we aren't, it'll speed things up (a tiny bit) and also cut down the possibility of conflicts (e.g. with the calendar).

menu 'we like' appears on all pages now

this just changed ...possibly when you were investigating the widgets for Forum??
check at the end of each page for the menu of the 'we like' widget...
that needs to go. or are you testing with it??

Multiple blogs?

We need multiple blogs but I'm not sure what a blog really is.

Widgets act up

Sometimes there is no rime nor reason as to how to control these widgets.
ie. I can't turn the Meta widget off on the forum and I wasn't able to add a different widget to the forum. the archive shows by default when there isn't another widget selected in a 2 column lay-out.
is widget control buggy? how to solve this?

Resolve calendar issue.

Choices:

  1. Go back and look at other calendars.
  2. Fix the problem with All-in-One
  3. Use All-In-One as is, but don't use repeated events.

Server is slow.

We probably can't fix this, but worth noting that it's extremely slow to get onto pages, particularly admin pages.

Update plug-ins

  1. BackUpWordPress
  2. Wordpress Statistics

Almost trivial - just need to check a day after I do it that we're still getting offsite backups.
