You are talking to the wrong person. I am not part of R Core. Please take that aspect to the r-devel list.

(I mostly don't care as I work with systems that have a full external LAPACK. If you feel inclined to make R's internal LAPACK bigger, they do take careful patches. Conrad and I suggested two more functions that were added in late 2013. Now is probably a good time to talk to them before the windows closes for R 3.3 to be released in April.)

Thanks to Conrad this use is now also flagged to @baptiste 's cda will now build either way. When Rlapack is used we still lack about a dozen complex functions but that is an issue we need to take up with R Core.

This has been taken care of in R 3.3.0.

There is now complete LAPACK support for complex numbers even when the included LAPACK is used.
