I'm Ricardo Monteiro, a technology enthusiast seeking challenges as a software engineer specializing in the TypeScript/Node/React stack.

I have over two decades of professional experience with digital products.

2000 - 2011: I worked as a full-stack developer, using the PHP/jQuery/HTML/CSS stack.

2011 - 2018: I co-founded two startups: SitePX, a website builder (PHP/jQuery/MySQL/Nginx/Memcached/AWS), and Beracode, a community builder (Node/Angular/MongoDB/Nginx/Varnish/Redis/AWS). During this period, I served as CTO and also took on the role of team lead, managing the development teams.

2018 - 2024: After SitePX closed and I left Beracode, I worked as a Product Manager at Contabilizei and Softplan, eventually becoming the Director of Digital Products at Talentify.

2024: This year, I asked myself what truly makes my eyes light up. The answer was clear: programming. I love being a developer. I decided to invest a quarter in studying to refresh my knowledge and earn new certifications. Now, my focus is to return to working as a developer.
