Dockerized version of srt-live-server and Secure Reliable Transport SDK
i want to set latency over 300 but whenever I do so I am unable to stream to srt-live-server. not sure if this is an issue with the docker container or with srt-live-server itself.
Hi guys,
Is there are possible way you could make me a custom version of this if I supply my own sls.conf file for my server. I have a livestream event this Saturday (30th) and I want to make it go well and I cannot do so as I cannot make any changes to suit my setup.
All I want to do is change the latency to say 800ms, change the recording of streams to my own path, and put record on.
I can send you the sls.conf file if that helps. I cannot build or run an image, the only way I can make this work is via docker hub. I would be super super greatful if you could make me a dockerhub image to suit my needs if possible
For some reason push and pull don't work, I must be doing something wrong but I am running out of time after spending hours on this now
Regards
Ade
I'd like to run this on a Raspberry Pi and the latest version of srt-live-server does that. Is there any chance of updating this to the latest version?
Hi,
Apologies if this is considered more of a support question than an issue. I'll let you decide;
My setup is as follows;
SRT-live-server docker: 192.168.1.198:1935
Transmitting MacBook running OBS: 192.168.1.100
Receiving Linux server running OBS and VLC: 192.168.1.101
2nd Receiving MacBook running OBS and VLC for troubleshooting: 192.168.1.102
I'm trying to send an SRT stream from the MacBook to the SRT server and then pick it up using the Linux Server in OBS.
It appears I can stream into the SRT Docker with no problem. I've put in the stream details in OBS as: srt://192.168.1.198:1935?streamid=input/live/stream1
This starts correctly with no issues. Green light in OBS.
When trying picking up the stream on VLC or OBS I use the following string:
srt://192.168.1.198:1935?streamid=output/live/stream1
And would expect this to work. however, neither VLC nor OBS will load the stream. No errors are thrown.
Is this an issue that has been seen before?
Thanks,
stwr
