Hans,
Please try this build. I don't have two alsa devices with the same mixer name to confirm.

Ralphy,
Thanks you.
The file has no extension. What to do to execute it in the piCore/RPI?

It's a replacement binary for picoreplayer.
Stop squeezelite from webgui
ssh -l tc picoreplayer.local
cd /mnt/mmcblk0p2/tce
wget -O squeezelite-armv6hf http://ralph_irving.users.sourceforge.net/pico/squeezelite-rpi
chmod 775 squeezelite-armv6hf
Start squeezelite from webgui

The good;
When selecting Card1 (hw:1) in 'output setting' and -V PCM in 'various
input', Alsa volumeslider Card1 responds when touching remote volume. Ok.
What not changed is that Dragonfly's Alsa volume slider only reset's to
zero when touching the remote volume. When moving the slider up and down
with the arrow keys, it works ok, also the sound level output.
Could this be a usb (driver) issue? (with internal RPI audio it works like it should)

Any comments regarding the Dragonfly I make would just be speculation. As the correct PCM mixer device is now used with -V. I'm resolving this issue.
