Hello,
In Version Control, if there are any changes in comments they are not readable . Grey Colour isn't readable in green colour.
I have attached the screenshot for add, delete and modified changes
I hope you change it to some visible/readable colour.
Intellij IDEA 2017.3.2
Theme: Dracula
Colour scheme: Tonic (rainglow)
Also thank you for such wonderful themes!
Hi,
I realy love the Peacock color scheme, but when using it in PHPStorm the colors on PHP doesn't match the style from the https://rainglow.io website. Here is what I have :
And here is what I should have (don't care about the fonts, only colors) :
Is it possible to fix it ? I'm using the Material Theme.
Thanks
I just downloaded phpStorm & am trying to change the code colors. When I look in the plugin Marketplace, Rainglow is not listed.
I went to File: Settings: Plugins: Marketplace.
Typed Rainglow in search box.
[No results for this plugin.]
Have I missed a step?
Hi,
First, nice work for making all these schemes!
Second, could you add the "source" link on the plug-in page? It's currently the "vendor" link which point to this repository, but the source link make more sense so I think it's better to use it.
Have a nice day!
PS: if I can do an off topic recommendation, adding a selection tool on your website would be really nice! It would allow to find the best colour scheme depending of our colours tastes!
Hey, thanks for those awesome themes. My personal favourite is Laravel (despite never having coded in PHP, lol) but I found some issues with it.
Unknown symbols (such as method names with a typo) are missing Underwave which makes them undistinguishable from properly named methods.
It can be changed under Errors and Warnings -> Unknown symbol
Outlined entity has a foreground nearly the same as Editor background.
It can be changed under Code -> Outlined entity. I guess it can be completely removed or changed to Bordered effect
First: thanks for great themes, awesome piece of work!
And the problem: in all themes, folded texts are light yellow. I guess they have not been overridden. This makes them completely unreadable when using light themes.
What font face do you use for the demo screenshots?
Hi @daylerees
Wanted to tell you thanks for your job with such great color themes.
But recently I've faced the issue, I started to use Github Light theme and I've noticed that the color of the params is not readable at all, could you pls guide me how to fix that issue.
Thanks.

Hi, I just discovered your repository :)
First of all great work! Up until now I've only been managing six themes and it is a huge hassle, I can't even imagine what it's like to manage 250+ color schemes, and for all editors to boot! So yeah nice work!
Secondly, I don't know if you know but I'm the new maintainer of the Material Theme UI for Jetbrains, and I'm constantly adding updates to it. I'm currently thinking of a way to let people plug their own themes as well, but it's not easy and it will probably take time. But in the meanwhile there is a "rather easy" way to add and design themes thanks to the "Custom Theme" feature of the plugin.
So if you're up to a challenge, if you have the Jetbrains IDEs installed with the plugin on your computer, you can try to meddle with the "Custom Theme" and your themes' colors and create a theme variant for each ones of your color schemes. Just check in your config directory for a file named material_custom_theme.xml
that contains your current custom theme's colors. More info at https://mallowigi.github.io/material-theme-jetbrains-eap/docs/configuration/custom-themes/
Again the best way to do so would be to have a separate plugin (and thus leave the responsibility to the plugin developers like you did with the color schemes) but if you'd really want to feature a color scheme with its theme variant I'll be glad to include it as a predefined theme for the time being.
Thanks!
I am unable to import Rainglow into Android Studio. I get an error message that says the .jar file has no settings to import. I noticed that Rainglow appeared on the JetBrains Marketplace but it doesn't appear when I search it within Android Studio. Is it still compatible?
Hi Dayle, me again, your worst nightmare ๐
Anywho, been working on JS past few days and when documenting it I've ran into a similar issue that the Doc tag is #000000. I've tried to find it in the XML of the scheme I'm using (codecourse) but it seems it's left out altogether so PHPStorm probably defaults to that value.
Here's a screenshot.
Hi!
Your vast set of themes is awesome. I know dark themes are more popular but many use light.
Your color schemes don't have enough contrast with the light background. For example using orange, yellow or light blue on light background is not a good idea.
Tried manually installing the jar into PyCharm, but it was explicitly marked as incompatible (I also have to imagine this is why it isn't on the marketplace anymore).
This is one of my favorites from Atom and was disappointed to find a lack of support on JetBrains.
Is a plan for a seti mock in the future? I would love to see it.
Hi, Dayle!
First of all, thanks for huge work you put in this project, that's brilliant, and i can't find right words to explain, how much thankful i am๐ค
About issue, is possible to make something on your part (or mine, and i'm missing it) to disable overrides, when changing color scheme? I have few defaults, and pretty happy with them, like font, semantic highlighting, comment colors - all set in "language defaults" section. I think many of developers have same things, and it would be really well, if we can skip the mess, with changing everything again. If not - it`s ok anyway, but i hope you have solution)
Is there any reason why italic is used everywhere?
It's very distracting to have italics in code as it messes with perceived alignment...
Is there a way within Intellij configuration to extend the color scheme in the editor to the Tool bar and the Tool windows? The Theme
configuration changes everything but I only get two options there: Default (Light) and Darcula
Hi,
Highlighting of matched brace is not configured for any of the themes.
It can be found in
Setting -> Editor -> Colour Scheme -> General -> Code -> Matched brace
Thank you!

Hi,
I've installed the themes from the repository, and the first thing I saw is that it imported me the 400+ themes into my list of themes, including contrasted themes. It's good and all but it would be better to be able to actually select which themes to import.
I can do such a setting page if you want, but first I want to know if you're interested.
I'm aware this project hasn't been updated in a while, but I assume it gets any bug fixes if any show up.
The problem: The notification is made for a dark theme, but it's using a light theme. (These are called notifications in the color scheme editor anyways. I assume it applies to the actual notifications as well)
This happens on every single light theme. It's fine in the dark ones, because the text is readable, but in the light ones (the one in the pic is arbitrarily chosen), it shows up like that. Here is the problem, which I've found in every light theme I've tried. That value sets the notification color, and it is only a problem in the light themes. A quick search finds 326 results, all in xml files (not filtering light/dark/contrast), so it's set to that for them all.
It doesn't follow most of the themes (which isn't that big an issue), but on the light themes, it's unreadable.
For anyone using these themes, this can be temporarily fixed by going to Settings | Editor | Color Schemes | General | Editor | Notification background. But it would be optimal for it to be fixed in the schemes themselves rather than manually setting it for the active theme.
Hi Dayle, first off great contribution, loving your work as always. I just got around to installing your plugin but am having issues with getting it to style at all. All of the themes have the same style ( below is space peacock contrast ). Am i missing an additional plugin / font set?
below is a screenshot of what all functions styles look like, everything in italic including namespaces, use statements and class / function names
Laravel theme is not updated, the style is not the same as the rainglow.io
Laracasts theme is the same problem
I install the plugins from pycharm, but i don't know where I can choose the theme?
Would you be interested in removing the font from the color scheme? I am using my own font, and I have to deselect "Use color scheme font instead of the default" for each Rainglow scheme.
