Current return value for read(uint16_t registerAddress) is: (( ( dat[1] & 0xFF ) << 8 ) | ( dat[0] & 0xFF )) & ~0xC000
dat[0] and dat[1] should be swapped
So return value should be (( ( dat[0] & 0xFF ) << 8 ) | ( dat[1] & 0xFF )) & ~0xC000
