I believe if you use DrawToBitmap instead of DrawImage it might be better.

Without any snips, the dock (in float mode) can be resized vertically. After taking a snip however, the dock can only be expanded vertically and not shrunken.

It pushes desktop icons out of position and crunches them all in one mass listing - and on closing it, desktop icons do not return to original position, if the icons were originally set in custom layout

Snips seem to be only taken from the primary monitor

SnipDock only has rectangular snips currently. The Snipping Tool on Windows for example has full screen, window and freeform snipping options.

I think window snip is the most useful to add.

How about features like, annotations on snip and arrows to show certain areas......

Instead of JPEG, which produces compression artifacts.

Instead of using Environment.SpecialFolder.UserProfile + Pictures. The pictures folder on my computer is not under Environment.SpecialFolder.UserProfile.

Did you wish to provide Snip Dock as open source? Please consider adding a LICENSE file.

I'd like to be able to have SnipDock start in Float mode as opposed to left dock, either via a menu option or command switch.

After I snip image I look in my Pictures Folder and I can not find the snipped image. What can the issue be? Do I have to create a folder for Snip-Dock? Please let me know what I should do. BTW, this too is very handy and I will be using it a lot. Hope to hear from you soon.
