It would be nice to not have to select the colour scheme to match user's current OS preference

The distance measurement between location and other hotspots is no longer working. All come back as undefined

it should show one or the other, not both overlapping:

When darkmode map is selected, need to change the hex color scheme for easier viewing.

The app is currently very unfriendly to mobile.

Add the sweetspot zone to all nearby hotspots when "All red zones" is toggled on

Cloudfront has a max limit of 10MB for compression. This is what is causing some slowdowns and issues with certain browser/internet combos. Need to pull hotspots dynamically based on location through the helium api to fix this issue.

Helium has an api for hotspot name searching: https://api.helium.io/v1/hotspots/name?search=

We can use this instead of the mapbox local search.
We can then use the distance search to pull all nearby hotspots after searching: https://api.helium.io/v1/hotspots/location/distance?lat=123.123&lon=123.123&distance=2000.

The current red color scheme makes the redzone look like 1 big hex. Outlining the red hexes may make it more clear.

Before the hotspots and other data load, should display a spinner or something.

Due to the change to the hotspots.json file no longer including online status, any offline hotspot is showing the transmit scale color which is confusing when counting hotspots.

To help with those that are color blind, making the colors high contrast will help distinguish between "too close" and "sweetspot"

Need a dark mode theme with a dark map. Allow for toggle between dark/light mode.

Request made to change the hotspot color to make it more easily visible. Should take this into consideration with the new UI and color scheme changes.

Lack of documentation on the site is leading to confusion, need some tooltips to explain the purpose of toggles and other things.

Would make for better visualizations if we clustered the hotspots when zoomed out.

When a new location is chosen, calculate and display what the reward scale would be for the given location.

This can be implemented via browser sessions, cookies, etc.

It would be awesome if it can be made visible how the reward scale is being calculated when a hotspot has been clicked.

Because there's no reward scale for offline hotspots, trying to call toFixed(2) on the null value throws an error and displays incorrect information:


The hotspot with the popup above it is displaying the information of the other hotspot in the image.

A request has been made for additional rings on the resolutions.

Change hotspot color according to its reward scale similar to hip17.helium.wtf

Add res4 and res5 toggles for hex visuals.

Would be a good visual on hexes to see if they currently hit rw scale limits or are available to use without penalty.

Because of the possibility for name collisions, might need to make the /#{hotspot} -> /#{addr} instead.

All the business logic currently resides in App.js. This needs to be broken out into proper components to make UI design simpler.

Could be useful for troubleshooting to have a way to ping a hotspot from the map.

It looks like there are no hotspots showing up on the map. But when searching for a hotspot name it will take me there.
