I noticed that when manipulating the go-yum client, any repositories that present surprising type names for their primary database(s), fail to propagate the missing primary database error.

Instead, the error is somehow being ignored, until finally a generic no such table: packages error appears much later in processing, due to the SQLite file being empty. Because it was not populated correctly earlier during the CacheLocal step.

Please upgrade Go and move dependencies from Glide (a legacy third party manager) to more the modern go mod package manager!

Some yum repositories, notably OpenSuSE, do not provide SQLite indexes. Instead, the data rests in XML files. What go-yum API calls should we make to create our own SQLite index based on the XML data?
