eguitty's Issues

does not build

refers to release-12 of egui_dock, easily fixed by removing the patch line

refers to serde-hexcolor feature of egui-terminal - which does not exist. If I remove the feature ask it failes to compile

Adding support for different profiles

Hello I would like to ask for an addition in the near future which would let the user create custom profiles by right clicking the "+" button at the top right corner.

What the request would be, is, support for:

  1. Different shells
You would be able to change the shell you want to use per profile and assign it within a text input, for example the executable for bash is at "/bin/bash/" and also you would be able to assign a default start directory for the shell to start at. for example on profile 1 you could ask for bash to start at /home/user/, for profile 2 at /home/coding/

  2. Per profile custom configuration
Things like different fonts per profile, rendering and different colors, transparency, all individually assigned per profile

  3. Custom encoding per profile
Being able to define a custom encoding per profile, a few examples here: UTF-8, UTF-16, ISO-2022-JP, ISO 8859-6, GB18030, KOI8-R

  4. Size of terminal per profile
You would be able to specify the columns and rows

  5. Position of the terminal
You would be able to define the default position of the terminal withing eguitty, left, right, bottom or top division.

  6. Length of cursor trail per profile
