The current pppd chat scripts used fixed values for the network connection Access Point Name (APN), Username and Password. pppd allows a -E parameter that permits environment variables to be substituted in place of $ENVNAME within the scripts. Updating the pppd chat files to use substitution values would make it possible to dynamically set the link specific settings.

On disconnect the system warns of unterminated quote (line 5)
