flexpart_containerization's Issues

Rework the README file

The README file should be reworked to support the transition to a general Flexpart containerization project. The new README should include:

  • Contribution guidelines
  • A release process for new Flexpart versions

Refactor this repository

  • The alpendac_prototype folder should be renamed
  • Scripts should be moved to a scripts folder
  • Container configuration files should be moved somewhere?

Add ansible support

It would be nice to have ansible support to build and run the images provided by this repository.

This is intended as an alternative to the existing convenience scripts.

Support for the newIO version of QuickLook

Currently, the QuickLook container provided by this repository only supports the version of QuickLook developed in the QuickLook master branch.

A different version of QuickLook with a differing feature set is being developed on the QuickLook newIO branch.

This version should be supported (possibly in a separate container).

Add additional QuickLook sanity checks

The QuickLook container provided by this repository would benefit from additional sanity checks for user supplied parameters in the relevant wrapper script(s).
