Aqua Engine

Welcome to the Aqua Engine source code!

You can download a small demo here! (requires Windows 7+ 64bit and a D3D11 compatible GPU).

Controls:
WSAD - Camera Movement
Mouse + Right Click - Camera Rotation
Arrows - Rotate Sun
K - Spawn Boxes

Also, visit the engine website.

Branches

The engine source code is published in 2 branches:

  • master - Includes the latest improvements. As soon as new features are usable they're merged into this branch. This branch might have small bugs but will always compile.
  • release - Fully tested, production ready releases.

Private branches are used to track live changes and start development of new features. Code in those branches, may be buggy and not compile. If you want more info or access to them contact me.

How to build

You'll need Windows 7+ 64bit, a D3D11+ GPU and Visual Studio 2013

  1. Clone this repository (or download the source code).
  2. Download the Dependencies folder, and extract inside the AquaEngine\ folder.
  3. Download the data folder, and extract inside the AquaEngine\Projects\ folder.
