IAR pick tool demand root privileges

Whay do we use this IAR tool? Can not we replace this by objcopy or similar GNU tools?

Commit messages unclear

Hi,
the work you did on this SDK is great, but I find it hard to follow your changes due to unverbose commit messages (they are all marked "update").

Would it be possible please to make more descriptive git commit messages in the future?
