real-time-laravel's Issues

This workshop work perfectly on my local mechine, but not on my server.

First, thankyou for this awesome tutorial. All tutorial works like a charm. But when i push into server it's won't work, only can subscribe the channel, but cannot push to the channel. Error log :

`
[2016-02-21 14:05:40] local.INFO: Pusher: ->trigger received string channel "notifications". Converting to array.

[2016-02-21 14:05:40] local.INFO: Pusher: exec_curl error: Could not resolve host: api.pusherapp.com  `

I think the problem is in here : " Pusher: exec_curl error: Could not resolve host: api.pusherapp.com " i already try some trick, but still doesn't work.

Thankyou in advance (:

Laravel config options should be mentioned

I spent 2 hours trying to get it to work on laravel.
(yes, i did enable the logging mentioned in Debugging your server-side integration with Pusher)

All it said was about a bad auth key.

Eventually i figured out i had to include the cluster, which is not mentioned anywhere in this guide (afaik)

Also i feel like the encryption should be on by default, i see no reason why this is not the default.

Recommendation

something along the lines of this:
(e.g. inside 2.4 'Using a Laravel Pusher Bridge')

        'main' => [
            'auth_key' => env('PUSHER_KEY'),
            'secret' => env('PUSHER_SECRET'),
            'app_id' => env('PUSHER_APP_ID'),
            'options' => [
                'encrypted' => true,
                'cluster:' => 'eu',
            ],
            'host' => 'api-eu.pusher.com',
            'port' => null,
            'timeout' => null,
        ],
