QuickTunnel

Light platform independet GUI for establishing SSH tunnels using ssh cli or puttys plink.exe on windows.

Based on Node-WebKit and AngularJS

Build

Install build system: npm install
Install deps: bower install
Install node_modules for nodewebkit: cd src && npm install
Build: cd .. && node_modules/gulp/bin/gulp.js build

Usage

Run the app from build/Quicktunnel/
Setup your information in the config tab
Configure forwardings in the "Tunnel" tab and press "Start Runinng"

Common keyboard shortcuts not working

Would be nice if the default shortcuts to close an application work.
(OSX)

Can't find nw executable for nodewebkit task

Not everyone has a global nw executable because different projects could require different node-webkit version.
Would be nice if there is a way to specify the path to the executable.
Or even better would be to have the executables bundled with the dev package.
(Note: this affects the gulp dev task)

Can't select Private Key file on OSX

.dot files are hidden in the file chooser dialog on OSX.
Easy workaround would be to just show a normal text input field for OSX users.

Tray-Icon

Add a try icon which indicates the current connection state

Add form validations

Add releases with ready to go executables

It's nice if you can use the program without doing all those build steps yourself.
See hugo for an example with releases for different platforms.

Auto-Reconnect

Option to auto-reconnect on disconnects
