Create edge driver

Hello!

I have recently started using SmartThings in my home, and now you have to subscribe to an Edge Driver if you want to use random zigbee devices.

Have you, or are you planning to create a "SmartThings Edge Driver Beta" channel, so it is possible to subscribe from there?

Happy new year!

Dimming for Elko SmartDim puck Uni 200W

Is dimming supposed to work for Elko SmartDim puck Uni 200W? On/off works great, but I get no reaction when trying to dim the lights.

Thank you for creating this plugin! Keep up the good work. :)

Super TR thermostat reports too high total energy consumption

This was reported in the community forums back in December 2021, so adding it here to have it tracked.

The issue is with the Super SR thermostat’s “Energy” value (showing the total accumulated energy consumption). It is way too high.

For example, I have a 600W heated floor that in the past 48h has used 435kWh according to the “Energy” number in Homey. If my mafs are correct, that’s about 20x what to expect if it was always on (600W x 48h = 28,8kWh).

ESHSUPERTR: Added device has buggy button with missing capability listener

  • Add a ESHSUPERTR
  • Navigate it to it in devices in your Homey app
  • Go to the screen to the right of power. Screen number 3 of 6. Uses a button as icon.
  • Screen with button labeled button is showed (confusing)
  • Click the button
  • Red "toast message" with error message is shown: "Missing Capability Listener: button.reset_kwh_meter"

Cannot read property ‘maxFloorTemp’ of undefined

I just replaced three old thermostats with Elko Super TRs. These thermostats are not connected to a floor thermometer, they just regulate the voltage.

I can easily add the thermostats to Homely, but at random intervals (e.g., daily) the Elko application loses connection with the following error message: “Device is unavailable. Cannot read property ‘maxFloorTemp’ of undefined.” Rebooting the Homey will make them reconnect:

This is quite likely due to the lack of the thermostats being attached to a floor thermometer, perhaps the thermostat is not always sending this information and the app cannot handle that it is missing?

I took a quick peek at Github, and my guess is that it does not correctly handle missing maxFloorTemp in when attributes are returned from ELKOSpecificThermostatCluster.js.

Elko thermostat not displaying power usage

Hi

The termostat is not measuring or recording energy or power usage. There is many on the forum that are experiencing the same problem.
I use 5 of these thermostats ( Elko smart home super termostat rs16) same problem on all.

Please fix this :)
Other than that, the app seems to worke good and fast :)

Cannot read property ‘maxFloorTemp’ of undefined.

Same as in #7. I have three of mine running in "frost guard" since the rooms they control are now being heated by underfloor heated water controlled by Roth. The fourth is running in thermostat mode with floor sensor.

My products are the Elko Super TR.

These will experience “Device is unavailable. Cannot read property ‘maxFloorTemp’ of undefined.” which can only be fixed by restarting the Elko app. This will happen a short while after the app is restarted.

I'm running the latest version of the app, 1.0.10.

Just to clarify:

  • Thermostat 1, 2 and 3 are running in frostguard mode.
  • Thermostat 4 is running in normal heating mode with floor sensor (was misconfigured, but changing didn't fix it).
