Contribution guidelines for the Primer Design System.

Local development

# Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/primer/contribute.git
cd contribute

# Install dependencies
yarn

# Start local development server
yarn start

Deployment

We deploy this site using GitHub Pages. Every push to a branch other than main will deploy to a preview URL unique. Merges to main will automatically deploy the site to production (https://primer.github.io/contribute/).

Explain what it means for a component in "Draft" state

There are certain components which are have the status of "Draft". See https://primer.style/react/status. This status is not explained in the Component Lifecycle.

What does it mean for a component to be "draft"? Is it usable? Does it have missing functionality?

The documentation should be updated to add this explanation

Examples for autocomplete rails component not working

https://primer.style/view-components/components/beta/autocomplete#examples

The src in the examples /auto_complete returns a 404. Would be cool if there was a way tot have the component working like in the react version of it.
