leo's Issues

want SmartOS support

We are about a 50:50 ratio of SmartOS/Ubuntu, so would love basic metrics for SmartOS as well. May be able to contribute here if we get some pointers on where to begin work extending Leo.

want disk capacity as part of default checks

Would love to see the following for default disk checks:

  • Percent used
  • Automatic creation of alerts for disks past a certain usage threshold
  • Average I/O latency in milliseconds

Error: spawn /opt/circonus/etc/node-agent.d/cpu.sh ENOENT

Hello,

I'm encountering an error when attempting to run leo to configure a nad install on smartos. We've installed nad and it appears to be running correctly as we can connect to it via our circonus account and see all relevant information. See below for information related to the error.

Environment: smartos

nad installed via:

  1. "wget"
  2. "unzip"
  3. "gmake install-illumos"

leo installed via:

  1. "wget"
  2. "unzip"
  3. "npm install"

Error:
[root@example /home/admin/circonus/leo-master]# bin/circonus-setup

events.js:85
throw er; // Unhandled 'error' event
^
Error: spawn /opt/circonus/etc/node-agent.d/cpu.sh ENOENT
at exports._errnoException (util.js:746:11)
at Process.ChildProcess._handle.onexit (child_process.js:1046:32)
at child_process.js:1137:20
at process._tickCallback (node.js:355:11)

Editing "components/nad.js" and re-running, I can output the paths and see its looking for:

/opt/circonus/etc/node-agent.d/cpu.sh
/opt/circonus/etc/node-agent.d/disk.sh
/opt/circonus/etc/node-agent.d/fs.elf
/opt/circonus/etc/node-agent.d/if.sh
/opt/circonus/etc/node-agent.d/vm.sh

Looking at the install location for nad I can see "cpu.sh", "disk.sh" & "vm.sh" do not exist here:

[root@example /home/admin/circonus/leo-master]# ll /opt/circonus/etc/node-agent.d/

Do I need to modify the config at "components/nad.js" to something specific to smartos? If so what would need to be changed?

Thanks
