Thank you for this really nice plugin !
We are not using it for human faces but for species identification and sometimes we have multiple individuals of the same species on one photo.. at the moment tagging a second individual with same name is destroying the first tag.
Is there a way, an option, to enable this possibility ?

Probably out of scope for shared-server hosted users, but face detection and recognition could be handled by a face_recognition service via its API...

when using Piwigo 2.10.2 the button to add a face tag is missing..
There is a placeholder or gap .. but the button is not shown or clickable

This app works fine on my desktop. However when trying it on my Note 8, I could not get it to work. It is very hard to emulate a mouse over. I did manage to get the rectangle to display, but the name did not display. I touch the face, it goes into edit mode. Need some kind of mobile options.
Possible, long press to set. Set tap to edit or tap to view.

The column name 'left' is a MySQL reserved keyword, hence, it should not be used.

I recently installed the facetag extension. It works great and is just what I was looking for to tag people in my gallery.

I do have a suggestion for improvements to include in a future release. Personally, I do not want Guests to be able to tag anything or revise tag names. Currently a Guest can go in and revise a tag on a picture. I do not want strangers going in and either accidentally or on purpose making changes to the tags.

A configuration setting could be added to give permissions to groups or individuals to make additions and/or changes. Guests should still be able to see the facetag boxes

If switching between different image sizes (for the same image), the border is not shown at the picked position. It seems, that the TOP position is always the same - not validated, though!
