==What steps will reproduce the current behavior?==
1. The Redmine issues button in TortoiseSVN's commit dialog is pushed and the
plugin's dialog with the issue list has popped up
2. In the issue list all issues, which are having a status which isn't marked
as closed in Redmine, show up
3. Issues with a status which is marked as closed in Redmine are not displayed
in the issue list
==What is the desired output? What do you want see instead?==
Due to step 3 above it's not possible to select closed issues in the plugin's
dialog issue list. This is a good thing in general but sometimes it is reality
that future commits are referencing closed issues and sometimes it's needed to
be documented.
Considering above I'd like to have an option whether or not to include closed
issues in the issue list in the plugins dialog.
This is something I've noticed that is implemented in a nice way in Gurtle (the
TortoiseSVN plugin for Google Code).

It would be great if you could filter issues by versions (the list of assigned
issues for each version on the roadmap)

I have tried your release and see there is some problem getting the issues feed.
1- Whenever I click in "Redmin Issues" button prior to a commit. I get the
error
"An error has occurred retrieving the issue list:
feedUrl is not provided. Please confirm the plugin settings in Tortoise.
Parameter name: feedUrl"
Also attaching a screen shot. I went to the main repository to make sure a
complete setup for turtlemine is done. I tested the atom feeds and I got a
success message on connection testing of feeds.
The problem seems to persist. I tried proxy, no proxy etc but this error seems
to be consistent no matter what I do. I just cant get the feeds whenever I try
to do a commit.
Please help. I definitely need this sweet product up and running.

There should be an additional menu entry that opens a new window to enter new
issues. Just summery, text and tracker. Would be much more comfortable than
browsing to the redmine website, browsing to the concerning project first and
enter the issues there.

When the plugin is configured a registry entry is added under the Tortoise
SVN registry settings.
To easy configuration it would be nice to have a post/end of install step
that brings up (optionally) a configuration window that is a friendly
window for setting up the plugin.
This UI would do the following:
1. Have a browse button to specify the local repository location.
2. Have a browse buton to browse to the redmine issues page or query that
you want ot use.
For the 2nd one we would then search the page DOM looking for the ATOM
feed URL.
We would then add the registry entry that has all the appropriate info.
potentially they could use this configuration wizard more than once to set
up differnet local repositories.

First of all, thank you for your great work on turtlemine.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use Redmine Instance v2.4.1 (redmine version shouldn't matter, but i used
this version.
2. Use apache2 with SSLv3 enabled.
3. While configuring the "Issue Tracker integration" in the TortoiseGit
Settings Dialog the testing of url of the issues list fails.
Further investigation (wireshark / msdn documentation) showed that the
ServicePointManager used the SecurityProtocolType.Tls which wasn't compatible
with the server's SSLv3 setting.
By putting "ServicePointManager.SecurityProtocol = SecurityProtocolType.Ssl3;"
in the ConnectionHelper.cs on line 86 my problem is solved.
I think it's a good idea to let the user choose which encryption he would use.
When i find some time i will add this to the latest version and post the diffs
here.
Used turtlemine version 1.2.0.1 on an w7 x86 and w7 x64.

In many Tortoise dialogs, such as the log window, there is a list of commit
messages. If one of these commit messages has an issue reference (such as
"#123"), it would be very nice to be able to use that as a link to the issue in
Redmine.
An ideal implementation would be to have a tool-tip showing the issue's subject
when hovering over the "#123", and clicking it would link to the webpage for
the issue. It would be easy to think of other ways to link up other Tortoise
dialogs with Redmine, but I have no idea what is possible or practical to do.

What is the desired output? What do you see instead?
Currently when you select issues it adds the work "(Issue #xx) to the
commit message. This will change when multi language support is added to
what ever the translated word for "Issue" is.
In addition to this change it would be nice for users to be able to change
this to what ever word they would like.

Hi!
First let me say that your project about the redmine plugin for Tortoise is
excelent!
I'm a developer for a Portuguese company ... and i have picked up your code
from the trunk version and added a feature to enable the check of the commit
message to ensure that the a user have selected correctly an issue according
the atom list.
I have added this to prevent anyone to not pick up an issue using the plugin
and write it by hand...like this we will ensure a correct use of the script and
only allow commit of specific issues states according the atom lists!!
Since i do not know very well the plugin perhaps my modifications where not
according the rest of the code!!!
In attach you can find my modifications and if you want to add them perhaps
when you add them add a flag in a place to be optionally mandatory the check of
the commit message.
Keep up the good work

Redmine can automatically log spent time from commit messages.
See the bottom of this page:

a-commit-messages
(Redmine feature #4155)
So it would be great not to open the browser for time logging after clicking on
a "Time Entry" button, but for example to open a "Hours: --. Minutes: --." form
(or it can be just a form, without a button.. or both).

Hi,
first I want to say you good job. My problem is when I use the form for
choosing Redmine issues to write down the Redmine commit message.
This function report only what is stored on column summary, that is truncated
about at 70th character position.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open window with "Redmine Issues" button on commit mask
2. Choose a issue that has more than 70 characters
3. Press ok
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect all the origina summary message on Redmine issue, instead of a
truncated message ending with ...

What is the desired output? What do you see instead?
In order to prevent incorrect messages like "fixes #1324" when I really meant
"fixes #1234" I would like turtlemine to be able to show me an issue's subject
and tracker as I am typing the issue ID, much like adding related issues in
Redmine itself. At the moment, it is only possible to view this information
after having opened the "Redmine Issues" dialog, which I feel takes too long.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TurtleMine 1.2.0.1 with TortoiseSVN 1.7.7 and Windows 7
