Make sure that you have socketio, fs, express, markov, http installed globally, e.g. 'npm install express -g'
Creat an 'API_keys.js' file with 'var CLIENTID =(gmail API clientID goes here)' and 'var alchemyapiKey =(alchemy API key goes here)'
In terminal, type node app.js to serve
