Wiki

Usage:

Simply add an IconSwitch to your view hieararchy. Either programatically or using xml:

<com.polyak.iconswitch.IconSwitch
  android:id="@+id/icon_switch"
  android:layout_width="wrap_content"
  android:layout_height="wrap_content"
  app:isw_icon_left="@drawable/ic_format_list_bulleted_white_18dp"
  app:isw_icon_right="@drawable/ic_location_on_white_18dp" />

API

General

Size of the widget is controlled by the attribute:

<com.polyak.iconswitch.IconSwitch
  android:isw_icon_size="@dimen/your_size" />

Default selection can be set using:

<com.polyak.iconswitch.IconSwitch
  android:isw_default_selection="left|right" />

To control the current state or get information about it, use:

iconSwitch.setChecked();
iconSwitch.getChecked();
iconSwitch.toggle();

Color

To customize colors of the widget, you can use the following self-explanatory attributes:

<com.polyak.iconswitch.IconSwitch
  app:isw_background_color="#fff"
  app:isw_thumb_color_left="#fff"
  app:isw_thumb_color_right="#fff"
  app:isw_inactive_tint_icon_left="#fff"
  app:isw_inactive_tint_icon_right="#fff"
  app:isw_active_tint_icon_left="#fff"
  app:isw_active_tint_icon_right="#fff" />

or setter-methods:

iconSwitch.setBackgroundColor(color);
iconSwitch.setThumbColorLeft(color);
iconSwitch.setThumbColorRight(color);
iconSwitch.setActiveTintIconLeft(color);
iconSwitch.setInactiveTintIconLeft(color);
iconSwitch.setActiveTintIconRight(color);
iconSwitch.setInactiveTintIconRight(color);

Callback

To listen for the check changed events use:

iconSwitch.setCheckedChangeListener(listener);

public interface CheckedChangeListener {
  void onCheckChanged(Checked current);
}

enum Checked { LEFT, RIGHT }

iconswitch's Issues

Default Position and Animation

Hello,
I love this library. Thank you for your effort :)
I can use this when I set the default one "left" and it works awesome with that. However, I want to set the default right one and get the animation from list to map by default.
I could not make it by myself.
Can you guide me how to do that?
Thank you :)

Ugly corners at API below 21

At api below 21 widget seems to be working fine, but has an issue with rounded corners. Tested with api 19 at emulator and a real device.

Issue in documentation

You have a small typo in the documentation

<com.polyak.iconswitch.IconSwitch
android:isw_icon_size="@dimen/your_size" />

<com.polyak.iconswitch.IconSwitch
android:isw_default_selection="left|right" />

This should look like

<com.polyak.iconswitch.IconSwitch
app:isw_icon_size="@dimen/your_size" />

<com.polyak.iconswitch.IconSwitch
app:isw_default_selection="left|right" />

Can not disable

setEnabled(false); and setClickable(false); did not work as it works in buttons.

set statusbar color to trasparent

Hello there,

I used your sample to implement iconswitch in my app. but by updating statusbar color the transparency is gone, and navigation drawer falls behind the status bar. so how is it possible to make status bar transparent again?

thanks for your awesome job

Consuming the click event

I am trying to use this library in conjunction with FastAdapter for RecyclerViews. When setting an ClickEventHook on this view, the event is not passed to the FastAdapter library. Is it possible for you to not consume the onTouch event?
