further research on ring mode

the /3 division of the ring mode is not supercool... maybe making symmetry to be a parameter in the chain? don't really know, guess the point is to explore a little bit more

fade-out using noteoffs

noteoff time to also affect visual behavior when noteoff enabled

branch mode

would be cool to have a new mode which lits a whole spiral branch per midi note.
Same than ring mode, but using spirals

xy length related to pitch

the lower the pitch the larger the number of active hexagons

XY growth of hexagon numbers lit by individual notes

x and y parameters for selecting the number of hexagons which are going to be lit by each note.
this parameter would also modify the distance between one step and the next... for example, if x=5 and y=1, (on the circular mode) note C would be a line of 4 hexagons with its center in the hexagon indexed as 1, while note C# would be a line of 4 hexagons with its center in the hexagon indexed as 6
