Android Sticker Template

This is the code used to make the Faecface sticker pack, which is an Android sticker pack that can function on it's own, or index the stickers for use within Gboard.

To help you navigate this template, and get set up running this app with your own sticker, we've written a helpful article over here

Pre-requisites

  • A device running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) or newer, and Google Play services 11.4.0 or higher
  • The Google Play services SDK from the Google Repository, available in the Android SDK Manager
  • The latest version of Android Studio, version 2.2 or higher

Google Policy Violation

Context

Hey Kate, thanks for this, I was able to implement my own stickers and upload the app to the Google Play Store (I believe the code is the same as published by you on playground.inc). Unfortunately it was removed soon after that because of “ Issue: Violation of Usage of Android Advertising ID policy and section 4.8 of the Developer Distribution Agreement”.
I added two lines in the hope that it would be fixed in the “AndroidManifext.xml”:


But no result, the app got removed again.
Could you or anyone else help me or give a hint what I could change to disable the Ad ID?
