The sources this repository have been last modified on 2017-10-06 which is just before the first version 1.0.4 of the addon was released on addons.mozilla.org. Since then there have been three releases of this addon in addons.mozilla.org and latest 1.0.9 was released on 2021-02-16.
However, this repository doesn't have any changes. Is this repository abandoned? And are the sources for the newer releases available also somewhere else than inside the .xpi files in addons.mozilla.org?

Hi, I noticed constant CPU consumption in my Firefox (75.0, Linux), and I nailed it down to this extension.

I checked with empty profile too (firefox -profile /tmp/temp-profile -no-remote -new-instance), so pretty it's this one.

Firefox doesn't seem to have CPU monitor, so I've been watching top output, seems that it consumes 20% of my CPU with extension on.
