oss-virtual-incubator's Issues

Suggest likely timelines for consideration, approval, and funding

Thank you for setting up this opportunity! I've just learned about it and I'd like to know a little more about likely timelines for consideration and approval and funding, so I can plan ahead. For example, are you planning on reviewing the proposals generally within a week of submission? Or: If you approve someone for funding and support, do you anticipate you would be able to start providing the policy help sooner but the funding might have to wait till the next quarter?

A note in your README summarizing what applicants should expect would be great. Thanks!

Typeform inaccessible

Describe the bug
The proposal form is not accessible at the link provided in the README.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to the README
  2. Click on the link in "If you'd rather just use a form, fill out this form."

The page at that link says, "Sorry, you can't access this typeform until its creator says so."

Expected behavior
A form appears that the user can fill out.

PRs stacking up

Describe the bug

The pull request queue has items from five months ago. This is problematic for all sorts of reasons.

Expected behavior

Most proposal PRs could be merged within a day or so.

Add a "Expected Setbacks" question to the Due Diligence section

Any launch doesn't go perfectly, and many tradeoffs and concerns have to be either embraced or overcome.

Adding a section for expected setbacks / anticipated challenges will be able to ground ideal pitches with suboptimal reality, so that requested/offered resources can be matched accordingly.

For instance, a lot of work has gone into Fareness to overcome anticipated setbacks, however there was no place to add details about this inside the proposal.
