A desktop notifier is a simple application which produces a notification regarding the scores of the ongoing cricket matches on desktop.
The score of currently ongoing matches will be notified on desktop.
So, in order to fetch the cricket stats, we are using this Python script to scrape data.
The topnews.py file contains the xml parsing and the notify.py contains the interaction with D-Bus to faciliate the inter-process communication.
