quarantin.io's Issues

Slider bars

Good idea but I don't know if the public would use it correctly. Perhaps a radio button would be better that way you can attach a definition? Make it less subjective. like fully stocked half stock, almost out, and gone.? Just a thought. @pixleight @violetteta8

Location search

Bug on iphone: Search Location section does not hide when typing in store location. It writes the name of the store you're looking for over "Search Location" making it hard to see if you are selecting the right store. I think a drop down menu would be better here. @pixleight @violetteta8

Search Location Field Problem

Using Safari on my iPhone 7, the Search Location Field has writing under it when I click on it to type a location. This makes it unreadable. Attaching a screenshot.

Can you allow it to use your location, too? This way it wouldn't bring up a Target or Walmart in the dropdown list that you are across the country from (see screenshot).

SearchLocation Example

Default Items to "Off"

From @USGSminc, "The only other thing I can think of it have every item set to "off" first. Then you can slide it to "on" when you select the stock level. Right now it kind of feels like I need to answer all the questions. But what if I only went in to look for two items. The matrix on the "results" side of things would be a bit more difficult. But the aggregate score can just use items that were actually rated."

Indicate time since report for individual items

Each store shows when it received it's last report, but not how long it's been since an individual item was reported.
It would be so much more helpful if each indicator showing how much of the product was reported had a " X mins/hrs/days ago" indicator next to it, because if I pull up a store and it says there's just a bit of TP available, if that was reported an hour ago, maybe there's still some left, but if that report was yesterday, probably not.

Show Last Reported Data

When clicking on a store, it would be useful to see two columns: last reported and the average. This would allow users to be more confident in the report for the "right now".

Add Crowd Slider

Having a slider for "crowded" would be useful. I don't think it'd necessarily be appropriate to build that into the averaging, but would be useful to see with the "Most Recent" data suggested in issue #1.

No Data/Zeros in a lot of places?

Perhaps its a usage thing? Potential better language on "how to use" the sliders? Maybe people think that if they just turn the flag to "On" that means it's available? Maybe a Header that pops up over the sliders that says "Est. Quantity" or something? Then on each end of the slider: "Empty" and "Full" or something similar?
