To get this baby live and kicking, follow the steps below.

-1. Install Node.js

Pick and install your favorite LTS/Current flavor on https://nodejs.org.

0. Download project source code

$ git clone https://github.com/phillipj/express-typescript-example.git
$ cd express-typescript-example

1. Install dependencies

$ npm install

2. Transpile TypeScript to JavaScript

$ npm run build

3. ๐Ÿš™๐Ÿ’จ

$ node dist/server.js
Server ready on http://localhost:3000 ๐ŸคŸ
