I've got colleagues in Delhi, and I can't seem to add India Standard Time / Delhi -
It's just not found in the list?

Hi Flipit Dev,

I am trying to use Flipit on my Win 10 Laptop, and it works properly when no other monitor is connected but stops popping up when I connect one to the laptop,

My monitor is 34-inch, 3440×1440 resolution, and 144Hz.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

It is currently 17:53 (or 5:53pm) but the screensaver displays 5:5, as shown here:

I have complete confidence that this project is not a virus, but windows10 is convinced that it is.
I have downloaded the Flipit.scr file from the 1.3 release and windows has flagged it as a virus. Not sure if this is anything you can solve, but I thought it would be good for you to know.
Still, looks awesome :)

the world times don't have china time

On my vertical monitor, the clock alignment isn't quite where I believe it should be. The current time clock is zoomed in much too far to see the full time, and the World clock is only a tad un-centered.

The Visual Studio 2019 designer under the 4k screen looks like this. Why should the AutoScaleMode in MainForm and SettingsForm choose Font instead of DPI? And there are display problems under dual displays with two different Dpi.

I'd like to see an option to manually add a city and it's time zone info. I've changed my setup to increments of 2 hours, but since there is no city 22 hours ahead of me, I'd like to add my own so I can have an even amount of cities displayed. And yes, I have a fictional city already in mind : )

The World Times board is not quite centered on the screen. Here's a screenshot with grid lines:

(I increased the contrast in the screenshot to make it more noticeable.)

Also, when the 12-hour format is set, AM/PM is not displayed here.

Tehran region in world clock is not subject to daylight saving anymore. now it's always +3:30

I noticed that we have the lightness setting in Fliqlo in case I wanna it when sleeping,
Can Fliplt have this feature ?

Unlike the old/standard Fliqlo project, this is a great project.
I would like the option to have it close on mouse movement, as well as just by click or keypress.
Preferably, I would think this option should be enabled by default as most screensavers close on movement.

I would like to suggest you to put Fliplt on chocolatey which is a package manager for windows.

With chocolatey you could install a screensaver with command like:

choco install flipIt

I am not sure when this started happening (though I can tell you it was when I swapped over to a new laptop with Windows 10 in of June. Was, previously, on Windows 8.1), but every now and then the Screens settings revert back to "Nothing".

Let me know what other information you need to investigate. Otherwise, I'm going to closely pay attention if this happens when I plug in the power [to the laptop], and/or if this happens after the laptop comes out of Sleep (I despise Windows' Sleep for many, many reasons), and/or if this happens after a reboot, etc...

I have the laptop docked to two external monitors, and the laptop's main screen is disabled.

Is anything else experiencing this?

Some cities (Santiago, Adelaide, etc.) have an asterisk next to their time indicating the time displayed has been adjusted for DST. Can an option be added to disable the asterisk?

I have loaded this onto my windows 10 laptop and having odd results, or at least not the same as what the "test" function does. Here is a picture of what I'm seeing across my three screens:

Hi, big fan of your project. Now when Flash is dead and a new version of Fliqlo is far from perfect, your project is a real helper.

If you plan to continue to develop this project I would suggest following features:

• AM/PM vs 24h toggle
• Font size picker
• Multi-monitor, but as a mirror of primary monitor. (The same clock on every monitor)

Just found this clock today and love the world clock option. However, I noticed that I can't add any Norwegian cities to it, having tried Oslo, Lillehammer and a few others. I am using just the .scr file, but I don't think that would matter. Other European cities were added without an issue.

Windows Defender deleted the Version 1.2 Beta 2 .scr file because it detected a threat called Behavior:Win32/Execution.UE!ml.

Something about the recent changes is deemed "suspicious". I can submit it as a false alarm, but perhaps it can be avoided?

On vertical display, due to the width it's so small.

I have witnessed the gradual improvement of this project these days. Love this as an alternative to fliqlo as well.
I also hope it can be better, and I would like to report a question here:

When the time number needs to change, it seems that the entire page refreshes(from my observation).
But Fliqlo can change the minutes without changing hours, and has the effect of turning pages from top to bottom.

Compared with the 12-hour system, a few people are more accustomed to the 24-hour system.

It seems the language of day of the week depends on system language. Is it possible to add language option to setting? Someone may prefer uniform apperance :)
