Would it be possible to change the default branch to gh-pages please, so that we don't need to merge from master to gh-pages all the time, nor forget to do so?

Here's another webapp that uses navigator.hardwareConcurrency with web workers to render the mandelbrot: http://danielsadventure.info/html5fractal/

It makes it so the user doesn't have to input the default number of workers used.

To support browsers that haven't implemented it yet (Firefox, IE), do something like default_workers = navigator.hardwareConcurrency || 1.

I just realized my recent modifications were not added to the github pages, as these live inside the gh-pages branch, and my PR was onto master. To avoid this kind of confusion in the future, I propose that the gh-pages be the default and that the master branch gets removed.

Default branch for a repo can be set in the settings of a given repository (from https://github.com/PeterJensen/mandelbrot this is in Settings, then default branch, right under the name repository).
Deleting a branch can be done in https://github.com/PeterJensen/mandelbrot/branches .
