illustrated-rules's Introduction

Pentagame Rulesheets.

If you want to contribute a language, please just copy one of the language files (e.g. english.tex) and translate, leaving line breaks and commands intact. Save UTF8 encoded as yourlanguage.tex.

The way this works is that the main TeX file (PENTAGAME-RULESHEETS.tex) calles such a file and then the layout file (layout.tex), then the next langauge and the layout file again, and so forth, to produce all the languages in the same layout.

Once you're done with your new language file, you can also add it into the main file as it was done with previous languages.

illustrated-rules's Issues

Release Compiled Files

Hey. I appreciate the work that was put into making the illustrated rules for pentagame. They're really helpful when explaining pentagame and a good guide for beginners. But not all beginners will have a full latex environment, and it might be difficult for those persons to work with the current distributed format (LaTeX). To make access easier and provide an easier access, it might be a good idea to provide a pre-compiled version (i.e. as PDF or some other widespread format) with the repository.

A good tool for the distribution might be the Releases. This might be complimented with an automated build of the rules and a deployment of the files on GitHub pages.
