Pelican plugin that saves articles and pages as PDF files

Dear Folks,
This is not an issue with the plugin but with the documentation.
The text rst2pdf documentation
in the README points to the link http://rst2pdf.ralsina.me/handbook.html#styles which does not exist.
I think the link should be https://rst2pdf.org/static/manual.html#styles which is the official rst2pdf site as far as I can tell.
I'd used a pdf
pelican-plugin in the past to export articles to pdf, that was last year, I can't remember & can't recover which versions of python/pelican/pdf plugin I used then. I'm trying to modify->re-build/re-generate and with these versions: Python 3.8/Pelican 4.2.0/pelican pdf master 8596c54a6e4d5/xhtml2pdf 0.2.5, I can't, getting this error:
CRITICAL: partially initialized module 'xhtml2pdf.util' has no attribute 'get_default_asian_font' (most likely due to a circular import)
With a cursory search, I couldn't find version combinations that would work. Any known incompatibilities in using that plugin ?
Hi, I'd like to generate a documentation site with pdf versions of each article linked from the html page, is this possible using this plugin? Thanks!
I am writing a blog in serbian, and there are weird characters in the resulting PDFs.
In the article: Šta ćeš sve pročitati
In the PDF: Šta ■eš sve pro■itati
Is there anything to do to fix this problem?
Hi, there's an old version still in pelican-plugins, which makes it difficult if you need to use something from there.
Should it be deleted, or this added as submodule?
sorry, but since hours I am trying to figure out the cause of the problem...
Using Python 3.11
Pelican 4.9.1
First I want to mention: As a new user to pelican and specially usage of this and other plugins: The information of readme files are really poor:
After installation you have to add the plugin to pelicanconf.py -> PLUGINS = [..., "pdf",...]. What's the problem to add this peace of information?
After running 'pelican content' I am running into error:
ERROR You need xhtml2pdf installed to use the raw HTML directive. log.py:94
...
But it is installed (requirements.txt):
xhtml2pdf==0.2.15
In the folder /../output/pdf/
there are PDF-files, but only one page with the title and date...
It is not the first plugin running into errors and searching for solutions... If there were a little more detailed instructions, beginners like me would run into fewer problems...
