cannot subscribe to cmor mailing list about cmor3_documentation HOT 6 CLOSED

@chrisdane It looks like you got | characters in your email text. I'm not sure how they got there since they don't show up on the contact page.

This did not help.

1. click "New Mail"
2. mail text: subscribe cmor (no title, no more text, no signature)
3. click "Send Mail" to [email protected]
4. receive mail from [email protected] with subject Output of your job "<firstname.familyname>" with the mail text

Unknown command - "|SUBSCRIBE". Try HELP.

Which email client are you using? I am not able to replicate this problem using Outlook or Thunderbird.

@durack1 @sashakames @sterlingbaldwin Could you try subscribing to the CMOR mailing list following the above instructions?

@mauzey1 the steps above #74 (comment) worked perfectly using a gmail account, as did unsubscribe cmor too

I use Thunderbird 68.6.0 as mail client.

I have just sent the subscription mail directly from the online access page of my mail account. That worked. Strange, but I am happy for now.
