Hi everyone, i've heard about this project but i have SIEMENS MS40.1 installed on my M50B20TU. Instead of ms41 i have a different pinout bit the same siemens connector. There is a possibility to add a branch for this type of M50 ECU?
@pazi88, does the M52 PnP Project is compatible with the latest 202402 release from Speeduino, and does it work with full sequential without the need for custom firmware?

Should I use BOM-speeduino v0.4.3 compatible PCB for m40 rev2.3.xlsx and Gerber_speeduino compatible PCB for bosch 88pin motronic rev2.3.zip to get the PCB that is compatible with my ECU casing and the engine?

On the m52 PnP, we have different values for the C25 capacitor, which value is right?

This is probably a stupid issue, but I can’t seem to find IC1 on the rev 2.3 M50 board. Can anyone help me with this?
I compared the Base Tune for the 202103 Version and the 202008 Version.
In 2020 the Triggers are both FALLING and in 2021 the Trigger are both RISING with causes in my case extremely high Ign angles (45 degrees).
I had big Problems tuning around this because i haven't looked a the Trigger Settings.
With the FALLING Trigger option, the Ign angles are like they should.

I have made my first ECU using your files and plan, but i have faced an issue.
When i installed the board into the housing and applied the metal clip to make sure injector mosfets are squeezed to the heatsink the bluetooth module doesnt fit.
I will make harness, that relocates the bluetooth module to another location, so not a big deal, but maybe you can adjust the layout on the board to eliminate this issue.
First off thanks for all the hard work you've put in on this, this is super cool!
Everything seems straight forward except the jumper directions.
In my example M50TU, I would put a drop of solder for the JP circuit between the numbers you specify, which makes perfect sense.
However what am I to do with 1,6,10,11,14,28,29,30? Are these pins to be jumped together to make one circuit?

Hi, i installed 202012 firmware and started having missfire in Ch5 and ch6 (cylinder 1 and 4). I have spark and fuel i think, but those cylinder don't work anyway. I went back to 202008 firmware and the engine works fine.

I got little trouble controlling my PWM fan, Fan will start at 10% Duty with the ignition on, cold engine, and during warm up, fan speed does not change, even if coolant reach 110 deg. Celsius. Hardware is defiantly good, as if i change value to 50% in line 771 and 772 in "SerialtoBMWcan" fan will speed up to 50%duty and stay there no mater what coolant temp. Is there anything else in code that I go to change ? What about line from 318 to 338 ? Coding is new to me so thanks for any advices....

I want to build one of these ecus for my bmw z3 1.8 that came with a M43B18 engine but I swapped a M42B18 from a 1995 318is.
The thing is that I am using the wiring and ecu from the M43B18.
One more thing to take into consideration is that I am using a M44 throttle body because my M43 used the same idle valve (3 wire) as the M44 engines and to keep the same wiring and ecu I had to use the same idle valve. Here's a photo https://c1552172.ssl.cf0.rackcdn.com/20343_x450.webp

Hello! I have m50NV with m50TU ECU (bosch 413), wiring and sensors. I've soldered speeduino ECU using your PCB design v2.3.
I wanted to use VR-conditioner but now it's really hard to find max9926 in my country. I decided to use HALL type sensors crankshaft and camshaft. Also I checked pinout of bosch 413 ecu and payed attention that camshaft sensor is hall effect by stock, pin checking of this sensor with stock ecu connected confirmed that, 1 pin 5v, 2 pin 12v, 3 pin ground. Crankshaft sensor I use Eps 1.953.082 cut it to make it fit with stock install place and connector and pinout changed according to connector output with speeduino connected 12v - VCC, 5v signal, ground.
I've connected all jumpers and soldered all components for M50TU according to your "Jumper configuration" text document, but JP31 was remained connected to 1-2 because if I connect it to 2-3 my camshaft sensor will be connected to nowhere.
I adjusted engine constant required fuel, injector characteristic, temperature sensors and Wideband sensor, compared ignition table with stock. Changed Idle PWM to put down RPM to 650, adjusted VE to have 14.7 on idle.
My issue is when engine starts and RPM is high and goes down to 650 for some time engine works fine, after few small accelerations to ~2500 on RPM falling to idle I noticed falling to 550 and aligning on 650, then I exactly hear knocking but AFR is 14.7 and spark angle is ~15 that corresponds stock ecu value. Even if I do not accelerate periodically heard knocking. If I pull up idle RPM to 800 as example knocking stops. On accelerations I also do not notice knocking but it could be because of loud exhaust. Two or three times I payed attention on RPM arrow on car dash it jumped up for 2000 RPM, but crank sensor installed correctly and on appropriate distance from decoder.
I saved a logs, could you please take a look on it? engine was started and stopped in this log file.

I am trying to run a DIY-efi PNP M52TU ecu in my M52TUB28 but i have an issue with injectors.
So i am trying to diagnose a misfire on cyl 2 and 4.
There is spark on all 6 cylinders but no fuel on 2 and 4.
When i removed the fuel rail, 2 and 4 are not working when cranking also in tunerstudio there is only 4 channels available for injection.
Is this a software issue ? Maybe jumper config ?

I am working with a 2.1 Board for M50b25tu
I am having no start issue with no RPM values on Tach or in Tunerstudio.
I am getting 5 Volts at 1 and 2 pins on the crank plug(from the ECU) and 3 is ground. I believe there should only be 1 5 volt pin correct?
I have installed R39 and R59 and I believe that may be an error as I am using a M52 Hall effect crank sensor and don't believe the Pullup resistor is neccesary. The Stock cam sensor is a 12v hall effect so I used JP 23.
All Jumpers match the word document.
Any ideas on where to start?

It seems that there are no diodes for D6, D7, D8, and D13 listed on the BOM. What should go in these spots?

I've read all the notes - just wondering which BOM to use if I do not want to use sequential firing, but I do want to use V2.3 board. On V2.0 you have separate BOM for sequential/batch firing - but on v2.1/v2.2 there is only 1 BOM...

I believe the Trigger Angle of 276 is incorrect. This is M50NV angle.
M50TU uses later trigger wheel, so it should match M52 angle: 36.

I updated to latest speeduino stable release, and compiled to 6 injection and 3 igntion channels but some things dont work well
Can someone compile a working version? I dont know if pazi will continue updating firmware .hex folder
