Less of a problem with PhotoPlayer (which is just an image), but can occur for the Dashboard which has an arbitrary text block.

Consider adding scroll bars, or prevent top-level widgets from exceeding the frame size.

Following the instructions for the raspberry pi and it states:

sudo apt-get install python3-pyqt

but python3-pyqt does not seem to exist

Today I started experimenting with the package. I had some issues with setting up the refresh-photos .

The aspectcrop function does not work anymore.

Using ImageMagick 6.9.1023, I had to use convert INPUT.file -gravity center -crop ASPECT OUTPUT.file

I also had to manually fix the albumNameEnc error as described here.

Current program requests user approval to access icloud each time
