Hi,
a very short example would be nice to see and some documentation possibly coupled with readthedocs would be really nice.

p.s. I do it with sphinx, for an example look here https://github.com/quantling/pyndl/ and https://pyndl.readthedocs.io/en/latest/development.html (Nowadays there might be different / better ways to do it.)

I have an error when installing VocalTractLab-Python using:
pip install vocaltractlab

I have the following error:
Getting requirements to build wheel did not run successfully.
...
Error compiling Cython file:
...
supra_glottal_state for supra_glottal_state in enumerate( supra_glottal_sequence.states.to_numpy() ) if index in resampled_index
...
Cython.Compiler.Errors.CompileError: ./VocalTractLab/VocalTractLabApi.pyx

In case you have an idea... I do not see what package could be missing.

When trying to install into a virtual environment using pip install vocaltractlab on a Windows 10 machine with MS Visual Studio 2019 installed, the installation fails (log attached).

check_if_list_is_valid fails on numpy arrays (truth value of an array ... is ambiguous)

the vtl backend is out of sync with the main branch on the vtl-dev github page, e. g. there is a delete tube; missing in vtlClose. What is the policy to sync the code?
