it seems to be a URL issue if i change the URL in the developperTools(f12) i can get it to show a random image from the internet.

if you use next.js, add like this:

rel="android-touch-icon"
sizes="180x180"
href="/static/google-play-logo.png"
/>
where the path of google-play-logo.png is public/static/google-play-logo.png
