cookiecutter-django-foundation's Issues
This project is a fork of Cookiecutter Django . We merge updates from the main repo occasionally to keep the project up to date.
When deploying to heroku it is throwing an error that I need to remove six from the requirements files as it is automatically installed. Is there a known workaround for when using this template and deploy to heroku?
Recently cookiecutter-django moved to python:alpine docker image cookiecutter#1482 . It is missing dependencies for libsass used in cookiecutter-django-foundation. Need to add dependencies in this project or send a PR to the main project.
Any plans to update? Tabs are the first thing I noticed that are no longer working.
Thanks.
This cookie cutter is awesome.
So, what would be the djangoish way to manage frontend package dependencies like Foundation or FontAwesome?
https://github.com/foundation/foundation-sites/releases
We are currently using Foundation 6.4.3 in the project. Major changes will occur in these locations
cookiecutter-django-foundation/{{cookiecutter.project_slug}}/{{cookiecutter.project_slug}}/static/sass/_settings.scss
cookiecutter-django-foundation/{{cookiecutter.project_slug}}/{{cookiecutter.project_slug}}/static/libs/
< script src ="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/foundation/6.4.3/js/foundation.min.js "> </ script >
This is the rough list of affected files. There will also be other files which needs updates.
Thanks for sharing this, very useful!
I'd like to use it with mysql rather than postgres. I've forked this to make the changes.
I'll do a PR for this if you want it.
I've also asked @pydanny whether he wants to change his mind about having that choice upstream in cookiecutter#111
