Howto install on ubuntu bionic

I am on ubuntu bionic. I've added the team-xbmc/ppa respository and installed kodi 18 and kodi-pvr-sledovanitv-cz_1.5.1-1~bionic_amd64.deb. However, no pvr plugin appeared in kodi. Further investigation lead me to unpack the package and it actually does not contain anything except some doc files.

Is this the supported way to get this plugin working on ubuntu bionic? I am using my notebook to evaluate kodi with this plugin as our new home media computer, while the final platform is most likely to be RPi4 with LibreELEC.

Video stream takes long to start (Xbox One S)

The audio stream starts near-instantly, video starts about 10 seconds later, both are in perfect sync.

Ahoj,
šlo by nějak udělat, aby bylo možné spustit právě probíhající program od začátku? Ukončený spustit lze, je možné v něm i přetáčet (dopředu, dozadu), ale jestliže aktuální program ještě běží, tak není možné se vrátit zpět a koukat "ze záznamu".
Nevím jestli to není způsobeno balíčkem "NP+", jestli se to nechová jinak než s "Zpětné přehrávání až 7 dní + Nahrávky 50 hodin + NP+"
Spouštím to z EPG volbou "přehrát program".

Edit: testuju to na Win32 buildu. Používám Kodi na windowsech. Jako oplátku můžu poskytnout Win32 buildy

Add support for PVR_RECORDING.iChannelUid

Please add support for PVR_RECORDING.iChannelUid. Although PVR Addon API declares this property as optional, some Kodi features cannot work if the channel uid is not given with a recording, namely the "red dot" indicating an in-progress recording in pvr recordings window and recently recorded home screen widget, the right context menu entries for recordings in progess, maybe others.

Unfortunately, there is no reliable fix in Kodi possible without an PVR addon API change (which I plan for Kodi v19, btw.).

Thus, I kindly ask the maintainer of this addon or anybody else with the needed skills to add support for PVR_RECORDING.iChannelUid so we can fix the above mentioned issues for Kodi v18.

Would it be easy to create an add-on for ModerniTv.cz?

Hi,
at first thank you for this add-on. It works perfectly.
However i don't use sledovanitv.cz but i have modernitv.cz directly from my ISP.
Both web sites are from the same company and they also have an nearly identical design.
But the accounts are separated.

Would it be easy to create a separate Add-On for ModerniTv.cz ? Mabybe it is only a matter of some URLs.

Unfortunately i am not a C++Developer nor do i know something about Kodi Addon development.
So i can't be much of a help here. But i would gladly test any new changes for you.

Readme says:
git clone --branch master https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc.git

But i've added --depth=1 to the git command which resulted in command being finished WAAAY faster while using way less diskspace... Which is especially usefull when compiling on SDcard of raspberry pi... Maybe it would be nice to mention in readme...

Hi Palinek, till version 1.4.8 no issue with sledovani.tv - now unable to play TV - nothing is loaded using this add-on (missing programs etc).

May I kindly ask you for re-check?

playback from past for actual show

it there any solution for previous playback actual show?
is possible to play back only the program that has already ended but is not possible to start a show that is still running from the beginning or only pause actual playback

Unable to change language on multi-language channels

Some channels contain multiple audio streams with different languages.

Viewer should be able to select the desires audio stream in Kodi during playback or from Kodi default language settings.

Currently there is one audio stream only which is incorrectly labeled not representing the actual language of the audio stream.

Perhaps extracting each audio stream could be possible...

TV playback does not start at the first try. Second try is OK.

When i select channel and click on it, it fails to start playback with these log messages:

Add of Nexus branch and related version

Since Kodi 20 Nexus has been available for a some months now, it is time to create an associated Nexus branch and release for all addons, for this then maybe "20.0.0-Nexus" for here (relates to you, on Kodi side, addon major equal to Kodi major).

I'm doing this at all addons where I have access, but you would have to make a change to this one.

Can pairing the device be a separate - explicit - step?

I ran into a problem when sledovanitv returned "pairing limit reached" when trying to use this addon. I had a problem with my local network which frequently failed. IIUC the plugin tries to pair again the current device when login fails (for example due to network problem). This resulted in "tons" of kodi devices registered on the site. Even when I deleted all of them, fixed my local network, still the same error. Finally I had to ask sledovanitv to reset the limit (I've learned it is a monthly limit).

I believe an improved workflow would be to pair the device only once, when the config dialog is filled. This would prevent ever again reaching the pairing limit, even when there are network problems.

More android devices have the same serial id

Nelze přehrávat na dvou android zařízeních najednou. Každé android zařízení odesílá pomocí API sérievé číslo na sledovanitv.cz, který je na každém zařízení: 4f9f10b304cfe9b2b11fcb1387f694e18f08ea358c7e9f567434d3ad6cbd7fc4
a název local host, což asi nevadí. Ovšem když chci koukat na dvou zařízeních na televizi najednou, tak jde televize vždy jen na jenom zařízení. "Jelikož se obě zařízení hlásí pod stejným sériovým číslem.?" Podle logu nemůže plugin získat MAC adresu. Testováno na android 9 a 7.1 a oboje odesílá stejné sériové číslo. Nešlo by to prosím nějak opravit, nebo přidat do nastavení políčko serial, které by si mohl uživatel sám nastavit ? Moc děkuji za vaší práci

Moc programování nerozumím, ale ve skriptu apimanager.cpp mi příjde, že si má plugin zjistit mac adresu a tu odeslat jako sériové číslo, pokud selže, tak má vygenerovat pomocí picosha2.h hash, který odešle místo sériového čísla.

Broken in current Kodi Matrix, works only in Kodi Nexus

Dobry den, I will switch to English:

I'm a new user and also tried to compile this component using cmake in Windows 10. Current Kodi is v19 Matrix. In repository there is version 20.0.0, this version have broken EPG and playing using EPG Guide.

This works in version 20.2.0, but for that you need Kodi Nexus Alpha 3 or similar (v20). This is not compatible with v19 due to dependency xml containing too much recent PVR Kodi module.

Would it be possible to have Jenkins build for current-gen Kodi?

Next-gen Kodi seems to not have 90% of skins and other plugins available yet.

Also I think your dependency jsonp is missing sha256 hash file in your repository:

Some XXX stations cannot be switched

Some XXX stations cannot be switched, eg to Leo HD. Switching to live but works via "channel program - play program" ...

Can this be fixed?

Could it be added to the settings, PIN settings, so that it does not have to be entered when switching to the program?

PVR artwork feature implementation

Hi Palinek,

first of all thank you very much for all you're doing.. Much appreciated, man.

I was wondering if you could implement the PVR artwork feature. Basically it's the idea coming from the last and official sledovanitv.cz AndroidTV box (and app). It downloads the Live TV show pictures directly from the official sledovanitv.cz server accordingly to the ID of the show.

Here is the example of the download ticket that is played right now:

EPG parsing incomplete?

Hello,
i have this issue on regular basis. Do you have any idea what might be causing it?
Reboot / cache flush did not helped, after EPG was reloaded the problem appeared again.

All shows properly parsed:

Shows not being listed. Only one big time block is showed in EPG. Even when there is show before and after block parsed properly...

Possible Solution

Some shows are perhaps not properly parsed from sledovanitv api? Their website is aware of the show, but it does not go to the Kodi EPG. Maybe show "televizní noviny" often contains some illegal character in the description?

Is there a way to off-set the EPG / Channel data for sledovanitv add-on only?

Cannot pair device

Hi,
I compiled a new version of the addon yesterday but can't load the channel list. There are messages like:

Locked channels - parental lock

Hi,
in the SledovaniTV's profile one can set parental lock (PIN) to lock/unlock some channels (primary adult content). I'm testing this addon and it seems there is no unlocking support. Right?

Náhodná funkčnost/nefunkčnost

Ahoj,
mohl bych poprosit o radu, co zkontrolovat, abych zjistil, proč plugin někdy funguje a někdy po označení pořadu jen problikne obrazovka a jsem zpět na EPG?

Včera jsem upgradnul Kodi na final 18 jak na W10 notebooku, tak na Minix Neo U1 (ARM S905), následně upgradnul plugin sledovanitv.cz na nabízenou verzi. Po půlnoci jsem ještě kontroloval funkčnost, označil jeden pořad v minulosti jako nahrávku, vše šlapalo. Dnes ráno si nepustím nic, ani live, ani nahrávku, natož "odcouvání" do minulosti, jak na Minixu, tak na notebooku s W10.

Zkoušel jsem vypnout/zapnout HEVC, přepnout SD/HD, všechny kombinace, ale nic. Proto si myslím, že problém bude někde dál, ale nevím, jak to zdetekovat.

Nebo to po provedenych zmenach neni mozne a znamena to definitvni konec sledovanitv na kodi zarizenich?

epgs won't load

It worked from start, but now when I launch (or restart) kodi v18 RC4 on Libreelec 8.95.002 on RPi 2 it wont show any epg info. It seems, that after some while (like a long one i.e. 30 min) it loads finally all epgs.

TV program limited to one day back degrades Timeshift usage

As the TV program is limited to one day back only, it is not possible to play recent movies via browsing TV program as you can't go back in time more than 24 hours.
When I changed time in OS and forced to read EPG data for the program, I was able to see programs older than 24hrs only and was able to play it (if it passed already) or record it via creating a timer (if it didn't start). When fixing OS time back, in a while movie is populated in the recorded list and can be played.
Is it possible to browse tv program back in time more than 24hrs to be able use timeshifting? Right now when e.g. you are trying to play anything from Saturday 23:00 at Monday 00:05, it is not possible.

Hello

I have problem with EPG and programs from archive. I can't play program from archive from beginning that is currently in live. Archive works only for programs that already end.

Workaround

I select program from EPG before live and forward it to the end.

Channel order problem

Hello. Running coreelec with Leia. Sledovanitv 1.5.1.1.
If I set PVR and LIVE STREAM in KODI to not allow channel order from PVR and create my own channel order inside KODI > it is mixed everytime I restart. Not sure if problem is in KODI itself or it has something to do with addon. Could you point me where to start? Thanks.

Not able to play shows from past

I have NP+ package, but I'm able to play TV shows at most 24 hours old.

Expected Behavior

Play TV shows up to 7 days back.

Current Behavior

Here are some examples of problems:

Prima COOL: Shows older than 24 hours display just „Switch“ option.
Sometimes (several times in week) I am able to play current (and sometimes last) show. Older shows are „lost“ forever.
After reboot there is no way to play older than current shows.

Shows/movies are displayed correctly in EPG, but only „Switch“ option is visible.

Context

Caching of EPG in local database or not gives similar results.

Hi,
there is currently an ongoing effort to bring archive support to Simple IPTV PVR client, see here:

Before the selected program is the end of the previous and after it the beginning of the next

Sorry, this is rather a question... I am quite new to PVR on Kodi so I'm not sure whether it is normal that when I select some specific program from EPG, it plays approximately 5 minutes of the previous one, then the selected program, and afterward like 5 minutes of the next program. Can it be avoided or limited?

Na Ubuntu v KODI 18.6 addon nie je k dispozícii

ani po nainštalovaní cez terminál sa mi tento PVR addon nezobrazuje v doplnkoch na inštalácii KODI 18.6 ktorú mam na Ubuntu. Skúšal som addon remove-nuť a znova nainštalovať, inštalácia zbehne korektne ale v KODI tento addon stále nie je ani k povoleniu iné PVR addony mam naištalované a tie funguj napr. simple client viď. screen dole.

měl bych prosbu. Bylo by možné přidat podporu pro PIN kód? Klidně do konfigurace pro trvalé zapnutí/vypnutí chráněných kanálů.

Audio stream in sledovanitv is unknown (czech) and you can't switch to alternate audio stream.

Expected Behavior

That you can switch from default (cz) to sk or en if available.

Problem during compilation of leia branch for kodi 18.4 on Raspberry Pi 3. Also affects plugin in official debian repository (contains only files for /usr/share/doc, not the addon itself)

OSMC broken with sledovanitv addon

Hello i have a problem with a new version OSMC and sledovanitv addon on my Raspberry PI2. I use clear installation from official website OSMC 2018.08-1 release. After the installation i update on new version Kodi 18. I proceed by the instructions on this website "https://discourse.osmc.tv/t/testing-kodi-18-leia-builds-for-raspberry-pi/20631". When i allow sledovanitv addon, OSMC broken with ugly faces.

Creating duplicate connections with v1.6.2

Expected Behavior

Addon should boot with available channels.

Current Behavior

Creating too much duplicate connections even with updated addon v1.6.2. In the end service won't boot. There is just error response from api: Error indicated in response. status: 0, error: pairing limit reached

Possible Solution

Reuse already created connection to api.

Context

There could be some drop-outs of wifi network on my device - sometimes I cannot boot with correct connection, but even if it will pass I cannot see any channels in addon. (It did work, until some number of "devices" - I did write to service support & it worked for some time, but after some time it happened again - all the time with version 1.6.2)

Not working on Kodi

Hi, love the addon but it doesnt work for last 3 weeks. It says connection lost. Matrix 19.4 this is on my windows PC, so I tried also on Android Kodi app and doesnt work either. Can you please have a look?
