Build the image using the following command
$ docker build -t neo4j_docker:latest .
Run the Docker container using the command shown below.
$ docker run
-p 7474:7474 \
-p 7687:7687 \
-p 7473:7473 \
-v $HOME/neo4j/data:/data \
-v $HOME/neo4j/logs:/logs \
-v $HOME/neo4j/import:/var/lib/neo4j/import \
-v $HOME/neo4j/conf/:/conf/ \
neo4j:latest
By default, this requires you to login with neo4j/neo4j and change the password. You can, for development purposes, disable authentication by passing --env=NEO4J_AUTH=none to docker run.
Alternatively, build from remote repo using
$ docker build https://github.com/paddy10tellys/neo4j_docker.git
Run the Docker container using the command shown below.
docker run --publish=7474:7474 \
--publish=7687:7687 \
--publish=7473:7473 \
-v $HOME/neo4j/data:/data \
-v $HOME/neo4j/logs:/logs \
-v $HOME/neo4j/import:/var/lib/neo4j/import \
-v $HOME/neo4j/conf/:/conf/ \
neo4j:latest
<container ID>
The application will be accessible at http://46.101.26.198:7474 or http://46.101.26.198:7687 or http://46.101.26.198:7473 7474 for HTTP. 7473 for HTTPS. 7687 for Bolt.
