You are right, they are a bit large. Maybe a little smaller would be better.

I will start thinking in changing the size of the icons.

Wifi, poker, OK, I will make them next week.

I created a wiki page with a new icon size :
http://code.google.com/p/google-maps-icons/wiki/SizeTests
I am convinced of this new small size. What do you think ?

i think i commented in the wrong place.......here it is......someone else also
likes
the medium 2 balloons.....

Balloon medium 2 size wise i think works OK. the other two are too big or too
small.
i think it works ok on the map http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?
ie=UTF8&hl=en&lr=lang_en&msa=0&msid=105863286002279699212.0004692e030c9f2196755&
ll=36
.116141,-115.177832&spn=0.017022,0.038452&z=15

what do you think?

you are right, the shape is a bit wonky, but youre almost there i think. i
assume
you can see it is sitting on a white background.
